Warranty Vault · Effective date: September 24, 2026
Warranty Vault ("the app") helps you keep track of product warranties and their expiry dates. It is designed to be private by default: the information you enter stays on your device, and the app works without an account.
Warranty details you add — product names, retailers, purchase dates, coverage periods, prices and serial numbers — are stored only in your device's local storage. This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can delete any item inside the app, and deleting the app removes all of it.
If you choose to enable alerts, the app delivers expiry reminders through OneSignal, a push notification service. To deliver those alerts, OneSignal processes a device push token and an app-scoped device identifier. Alert messages may reference items from your vault. You can turn alerts off at any time in the app or in your device settings. OneSignal's own privacy policy is available at onesignal.com/privacy_policy.
The app currently collects no analytics of any kind. If anonymous, aggregate usage analytics (such as which features are used) are ever enabled to help us improve the app, they will not be linked to your identity, will contain none of your warranty information, and will never be sold or shared with advertisers — and this policy will be updated first.
The app has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not show advertising, we do not use third-party ad trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
Your warranty data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Since the app collects no analytics, nothing else is retained anywhere.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
