Warranty Vault Support

Warranty Vault keeps every warranty you own in one place and shows you the exact day each one runs out — so you can file a claim while you're still covered.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a warranty?

On the Vault tab, tap Add warranty. Enter the product, the store you bought it from, the purchase date and the coverage period. Price and serial number are optional. Tap Save to vault.

How do I scan a receipt or warranty?

On the add screen, tap Scan receipt or warranty. Take a photo, choose one from your photo library, or import an image from Files — for example a warranty you received by email. The app reads the product, store, price, purchase date and serial number right on your device and fills the form in for you, and the photo stays attached to the item.

How do expiry reminders work?

Tap the bell on the Vault tab and allow notifications. You can then choose two kinds of alerts: Expiring soon (30 days before coverage ends) and Expired (when a warranty lapses). You can switch either off at any time in the app or in your device settings.

What do the stats on the Vault tab mean?

Covered counts items with coverage remaining beyond the next 30 days, Expiring counts items ending within 30 days, and Expired counts items whose coverage has ended.

Where is my data stored?

Everything you enter is stored only on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync. See our privacy policy for details.

How do I remove a warranty?

Open the item, scroll to Manage, and tap Remove from vault. To remove all of your data, delete the app from your device.
